Books for you and they're new, and sometimes blue too.

Here’s my theory: the library can be a little hard to browse. I know, we really try to keep it organized with our new fangled Dewey classification, but sometimes that means going to two different areas of the library to find books you want. And it’s not quite like a book store where the best sellers are assaulting you from every which-way, sometimes you just want to go in and have some books pop out at you without drowning in the surplus. I may have a solution for you. Have you checked out our new books area? This is where we put all the books that we’ve just ordered before they go into the main shelves. It’s located in the Hot Spot room (the one with the red walls). Here’s what I just discovered walking through it: it’s like a mini library. The spines are still facing out, so you can’t see exactly what the covers look like, but you can browse psychology, crafts, cookbooks and history all within a few minutes. And you know you’re getting the most current stuff because it has all been published within the last six months or so. Oh, and we have a fiction section there too, so you can check out all the newer titles. Then, if you find a book that you want to know more about, you can use the Dewey number to find a more extensive collection on our main shelves. We also choose exciting and current topics for our displays located at the front of the library (but you already knew that since you browse the Mentor’s Reader display everyday, right?). There. I solved your problem. Browse the new book area and thank me later.
