Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Most Memorable Secondary Characters

Happy Top Ten Tuesday! Today's topic: Most Memorable Secondary Characters

Here is a list in no particular order of secondary/supportive characters that I wouldn't mind getting to read a whole book about.

The Weasley Family from the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

I would love to read more about their madcap adventures in Egypt. And more about the dragons that Charlie works with.

Samwise Gamgee from the Lord of the Rings.
This brave gardener is pretty much the only reason the ring gets to the Fires of Mount Doom yet Tolkien doesn’t give readers much history for him. An inherited job, an undying loyalty to Frodo...but why?

Grandma Mazur from the Stephanie Plum Series by Janet Evanovich
The woman goes to random neighborhood funerals and looks in the coffin.  Who doesn’t love reading about other people’s crazy relatives.

The Cuthberts from Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
Matthew and Marilla are wonderful  people. I just adore them.

Beth from Dramacon by Svetlana Chmakova

I kinda need to know what happen with her mom. This series could use another couple volumes.

Darkling from Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.
SPOILERS:  Being the evil villain doesn’t stop The Darkling from being one of the most intriguing characters of the Grisha Series. Hopefully book two will answer my questions.

Johnny from The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

He saves a bunch of kids and coined the line "Stay golden, Ponyboy."
Lord Akeldama from the Parasol Protectorate Series by Gail Carringer.
Flamboyant, foppish, and altogether hilarious Lord Akeldama is a Londan Vampire Rove.

Lavi Bookman from D.Gray-man by Katsura Hoshino
What happened to his eye?

Murphy from the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher.
Little, but fierce.

What about you, dear reader? Who are your favorite not-main characters?
