funny vampires--what will they think of next?

Oh my gosh, you guys. So there's this hilarious author that I haven't told you about yet. His name is Christopher Moore. And I know we are all a little tired of the whole vampire thing right now, but I swear this one is worth reading. It's called You Suck: A Love Story (you want to read it already, don't you?). The most memorable and hilarious part of book is the character Abby Normal; a teen goth girl who's just itching to become a minion to some seedy vampire (I know, hilarious, right?). But seriously, although the plot could be scary in someone else's hands, Moore makes it humorous and fast-paced. This is actually a sequel; the first book is called Bloodsucking Fiends. I didn't realize that at the time, but it was no trouble to jump in on the second book.

So you get a love story, humor, and the best character ever written all in one book. But wait! There's more!!

If you read other Moore books you'll get the harbinger of death (a widowed man who owns an antique shop and has an adorable little girl). And! Biff, who just happens to be Christ's childhood pal (Moore's words, not mine). All of these fun times would cost you hundreds at an ordinary book store, but if you act now, you can get them all FREE at your local library!
